Together, we can create sustainable well-being for all, starting in Kenya.

Let’s kickstart KIMSSEA!

2020 has been a year of challenges for all of us. When the world shut down in March, so did construction on KIMSSEA, our innovative space for education, enablement and entrepreneurship.

KIMSSEA combines an established innovation ecosystem with a light manufacturing space and social entrepreneurship academy. It has been designed to help changemakers and disruptors from vulnerable groups bring ideas to fruition, and products and services to market.

How your gift helps

It is now safe for us to re-start KIMSSEA construction. We are reaching out to our awesome community of friends and supporters because we need your help in raising $50,000 to offset the cost of the shutdown. Your gift will go directly towards purchasing bricks, buying kilns, building walls and paying wages.

Our long-term goal for KIMSSEA is to identify 100 new entrepreneurial endeavours, create 10,000 jobs, impact 10 million people by 2030.

Our gift to you

To thank you for your gift, we've got a gift for you!

Make a donation today that will help us build an innovative space for education, enablement, and entrepreneurship in Africa, and receive an exclusive link to an online event of community storytelling and holiday music with Canadian icon, Tom Jackson.

December 13, 2020

We would like to thank Don Simpson for gifting us with 1,000 virtual seats to this concert in memory of his daughter, Jan Simpson.

About Tom Jackson and Huron Carole
Tom Jackson - Philanthropist, Singer, Actor

Tom is the recipient of numerous awards, including his induction as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2000. Of a long list of laurels and accolades, one of Tom’s proudest achievements is The Huron Carole concert tour.

The Huron Carole

The Huron Carole is an annual concert tour traveling to all three coasts started by Tom and his wife, Alison over 30 years ago. The 2020 Huron Carole tour is going to look a little different. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, instead of touring across country, The Huron Carole will be in the form of a virtual performance, which you can enjoy in the comfort of your home.

Help us spread hope

The table below provides some guidance for your gifting. When giving your gift, be sure to provide your email address so that we can invite you to the Huron Carole virtual concert for an evening that will give us all a sense of community and spread some hope, laughter and joy.

KIMSSEA is an important initiative for ICChange because it is a manifestation of our philosophy, our problem solving method and it builds on and integrates our other impact initiatives.
